Session 13

This is my paragraph about SELECT statements.

• SELECT * FROM Customers;
• SELECT CustomerName, CITY FROM Customers;
• SELECT * FROM Products ORDER BY PRICE;
• SELECT * FROM Customers WHERE Country = 'Spain' AND CustomerName LIKE 'G%';
• SELECT * FROM Customers WHERE Country = 'Germany' OR Country = 'Spain';

This is my paragraph about INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements.

• INSERT INTO table_name (column1, column2, column3) VALUES (value1, value2, value3);
• INSERT INTO table_name VALUES (value1, value2, value3);
• UPDATE table_name SET column1 = value1, column2 = value2 WHERE condition;
• DELETE FROM table_name WHERE condition;

This particular session teaches us how to succesfully filter and select different items in a table. I have been wanting to work in IT for some time now and learning the different SQL statements will greatly help me! My job will require me to read alot of coding as well as write my own! Being able to successfully and quickly find the data I need will help reduce the amount of time I spend on those tasks.
